  8. Plastic products assemblers, finishers, and inspectors (NOC 94212)
  9. Industrial sewing machine operators (NOC 94132)
  10. Motor vehicle assemblers, inspectors, and testers (NOC 94200)
  11. Fish and seafood plant workers (NOC 94142)
  12. Industrial painters, coaters, and metal finishing process operators (NOC 94213)
  13. Labourers in food and beverage processing (NOC 95106)
  14. Labourers in chemical products processing and utilities (NOC 95102)

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify under the In-Demand Skills stream, applicants must have:

  • A full-time, permanent job offer in one of the eligible occupations.
  • At least nine months of cumulative work experience in the same occupation as the job offer within the last three years.
  • A minimum Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 4 in English or French.
  • Equivalent to Canadian secondary school education.

The pay rate must be equal to or higher than the median wage listed on the Job Bank website for the specific region where the work will be performed.

How to Apply

Interested candidates must create a profile in the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada’s (IRCC) Express Entry system. If selected, they will receive a Notification of Interest (NOI) from Ontario, allowing them to apply for nomination through the OINP.
